| EIM's BT Series Manually Operated Bevel Gears are for use on gate and globe valves, sluice gates, and any device having a rising non-rotating stem |
Standard features are: |
- Torque capacities up to 12,000 ft-lb (16,270 Nm)
- Thrust capacities up to 350,000 lb (160,000 Kg)
- All Ductile Iron Construction
- Bevel gears are ductile iron or steel, and are machine cut for accuracy
- Bevel pinions are heat treated steel
- Top entry replaceable stem nut
- Output thrust and torque loads handled by heavy duty tapered roller bearings
- Input bevel pinion supported on deep groove ball bearings
- Easily converted from manual operation to motor operation, if required
- Overall gear ratios with appropriate size handwheels designed to comply with handwheel rimpull requirements
